Write in Ralph 03.Aug.2004 15:54

There is a line underneath all the presidential choices listed on your ballot. It is there to give you the option to write in the candidate of your choice. That is what I plan to do if Ralph Nader does not make it onto the Oregon ballot. I also plan to call the Multnomah County elections to see how they count these legal write in votes. Currently I know the county uses the ES&S 650 vote scan voting machine, so not sure how a write in would work. I urge everyone who plans to vote in a similar manner to pose the same question to their county election offials.
