Thoughts on Food & Renting...

I suggest a day, how about May 30th, for everyone to meet in their circles of friends or neighborhoods and discuss two important things, what problems and possibilities we see with (1) where we get our food, and (2) how we live (paying rent, etc.).
We did this in my town and came up with some pretty creative things: bolstering food coops and squatting houses, but solutions will vary from city to city!

Perhaps people could post their thoughts on this to PDX imc...

think

This should be something that is discussed all the time. I mean wake up please. Where do people think the economic system is going? Maybe we will be able to increase consumption more and more we can have more and more wars and then when the number of wars increases so greatley we will eventually have peace. Yes we will be resting in peace. We in this country are %5 of the population on the earth and consume %30 of its resources. Anyone with common sense can see that this is not going to work out. Common sense is severly lacking. Talk about this all the time. Continue talking and seeking was to get of the grid. This economic system is going to collapse and the people who start addressing this issuses sooner the better off we all will be.
