genetic engineering | imperialism & war

Why are Americans nothing but a bunch of Mindless Drones.

The so called 911 commision is nothing but a dog and phony show.

But why do Americans let this white wash continue?
If you do some research you will find that the germans used fluoride during the war as a toxin to control the prisoners in the camps.

It's called mind control.
So when you wonder why the american people don't rise up against the white wash commishion and all the new lies they dream up every day, look at the facts.

What about Jessica Lynch, remember the fight down to the last bullet!
They feel that they have the right to control the world and they will not let anything get in their way.

Remember, they are willing to spill our blood in order for them to get rich!
Havent they shown us this fact in the past
So why wonder about the reasons why.
The are a self-rightous, self-serving cult!
Look at the facts!!!!!!

More spew, paranoia, and misrepresentation:

"I am appalled at the prospect of using water as a vehicle for drugs. Fluoride is a corrosive poison that will produce serious effects on a long range basis. Any attempt to use water this way is deplorable." Dr. Charles Gordon Heyd, Past President of the American Medical

"fluoridation ... it is the greatest fraud that has ever been perpetrated and it has been perpetrated on more people than any other fraud has. "
Professor Albert Schatz, Ph.D. (Microbiology), Discoverer of
streptomycin & Nobel Prize Winner.

Dr. Hardy Limeback, biochemist and Professor of Dentistry, University of Toronto, former consultant to the Canadian Dental Association. "Children under three should never use fluoridated toothpaste. Or drink fluoridated water. And baby formula must never be made up using Toronto tap water. Never. In fluoridated areas, people should never use
fluoride supplements. We tried to get them banned for children but (the dentists) wouldn't even look at the evidence we presented" (See news.htm for full text).

Professor A.K. Susheela (author of over 100 published scientific papers) "What is the matter with your scientists that they allow your government to be so stupid?", October 4, 1998, commenting on the UK government's support for fluoridation.

Dr. Robert Carton, Ph.D, former Environmental Protection Agency
Scientist (20 years), Food & Water Journal, Summer 1998
"The level of fluoride the government allows the public is based on scientifically fraudulent information and altered reports. People can be harmed simply by drinking water."

Dr. William Marcus, Ph.D, Environmental Protection Agency Scientist, Food & Water Journal, Summer 1998
"Fluoride is a carcinogen by any standard we use. i believe EPA should act immediately to protect the public, not just on the cancer data, but on the evidence of bone fractures, arthritis, mutagenicity, and other effects."

i think that TV/media dumbwashing and mass consumerism play a far more prominent role than, uhh, fluouride.

They Don't Care Unless It Affects Them Personally 20.May.2004 18:01

Cheney Watch

People response to crises based upon how each one impacts a personal comfort level. No impact? No interest. If the average American has money, is able to buy what they want whenever they want it, and can watch TV, many couldn't be bothered with politics.

It's symptomatic that people are getting more excited about high gas prices than about genocide in Iraq.

Because we're weak, lazy and apathetic 20.May.2004 18:18

We lack the adversity that our grandparents and great-grandparents faced in their lives. With little or no real struggle in our daily lives, we busy ourselves with the business of going to work and playing solitaire while making sure the boss isn't looking, filling our bellies with fast food while loitering in behemoth SUV's before finishing off the day as grown men playing video games or grown women staring at entertainment tonight.

We've got a fluffed up fake economy and a world to do our bidding, what do we need to think for ourselves for?

Fuck you 20.May.2004 18:18

over this. Why is that, dear Mr. What Ever? Did it hit a raw nerve?

Because they sent all the manufacturing jobs overseas. 20.May.2004 20:26

There was a time in this country when people went to work and made things. Furniture , bicycles, cars , radios, all american made. In our throwaway culture , the long respected skill of being able to make something with your hands is almost dead. People don't make things themselves and people don't fix things. Now matter how boring or repetitive a production or manufacturing job might be there is still sense of accomplishment at the end of the day, because you can see what you've made. You don't get that sitting at a desk pounding on a keyboard, unless you are a graphic designer.
If we keep *outsourcing* the way we are right now it is conceivable that in 20 years we will be completely dependent on other countries for all our goods. Ask yourself what would happen if all the countries that we get stuff from decided to impose a trade embargo. This is realistic, considering our shaky relations with Korea, China, Pakistan, and India. We must stop this dangerous trend of becoming strictly a service economy.

Don't use this time to bitch 20.May.2004 20:51

What's the point?

They (the sheeple) will probably respond, "To live a happy life."

Transnationals annul democracy and proverbial wisdom 21.May.2004 05:27

marc mbatko@lycos.com

According to the Chinese proverb, "If you feed a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." But consider the people of the South Pacific. They and their ancestors have fished for centuries. What use is their knowledge against the Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese companies that ravaged their oceans with miles of drift nets, the Amewricans who used their islands and waters as dumping grounds for toxic wastes and deactivated chemical weapons and the French who coninued nuclear testing in their region. When development workers from these same "developed" nations come and presume to teach the natives to fish, they add insult to injury.
Anwar Fazal, "Citizen action networks and global change" in Yes, Spring 2004
Next week I'll be uploading an interview with Maude Barlow from the Council of Canadians. She says we face a new reality with transnational corporations as new political actors. Why don't politicians defend public or universal health care, education and access to water instead of arguing for privatization? They were elected to defend the commons and yet they succumb to corporations.
"Who Owns the Sky? Reviving the Commons" by David Bollier offers hope. We are not handed over to politicians or to the market economy. The community has a sovereignty over the land, water, health care and education. They don't belong to PepsiCola.
Todos somos Marcos. We are all Marcos, Zapatista partisans struggling for human dignity, for one world where many worlds fit. Without Marcos, we are only bones for CocaCola!

Might I rant? (a wee bit 'o the foul language) 17.Oct.2005 15:00

You gotta notice the signs... the "American Empire" is in freefall. You do NOT have 20 years left - no way - nohow. And it breaks my fucking heart.

Don't get me wrong, we're falling right along behind you, like the loyal friend that Canada has always been, we'll collapse right along with our American cousins. But YOU were AMERICA. We all had a dream and your corporations bought it and then purchased your politicians and now they drug us into complacency with fluoride to keep us quiet. And we all pay. Those same corporations have also purchased MY government... but ours, with one or two exceptional out-liers, were always a bit "weak in the head" anyhow and we expected MORE from America.

We all WANTED the American dream to be more than a dream. But in the end.. that's all it was. And now it's over. No shit.... it's too late to save it. The only possible hope for that intellectual giant of a leader, George "nucular" Bush to salvage what there is of the once-great dream - that he personally pushed over the edge of bankruptcy - is to use your last remaining functional bombs and nuke China (well, and Europe too) into the stoneage. But ya know folks... we just saw in Iraq that America doesn't have the strength (financially) to support a micro-army for three years. Let's all go learn Mandarin or Cantonese because we're all gonna need it before we retire. THEY are living the American dream now. ('gratz on the space missions China!! Please, don't mess up our 40 year-old footprints when you finish that base on the moon. We will NEVER be capable of another moon-shot, so those footprints are our LEGACY.)

Remember back during WWII when America could do anything? THOSE Americans would have had those levies filled in MINUTES!! No Goddamn WAY would an entire "Pride-of-the-Mississippi" city have been washed (inhabitants and all) away for lack of 20 helicopter-loads of sand! But, since CNN didn't call it a problem, it isn't a problem. Holy Jesus-H-fucking-ORWELL!! Let's watch some more TV!

Man, I remember crying with relief during the splash-downs. I was mad about Vietnam... but still we had hope for the future. (there is no WAY America could fight a Vietnam today... no WAY. We no longer have the financial muscle.)

We look at the Soviet Union and think, somehow, that they deserved it, maybe they never HAD it to begin with and that's where their collapse came from. But of course it can never happen HERE. Well, news to us - it is happening so fast that our eyes can't focus on our own free-fall and we don't notice a goddamn thing. Half of the world is ahead of us technologically. Can you BELIEVE THAT!? No, of course not... CNN didn't say it so it cannot be true. All of those backward-ass countries that we mocked in the '70's... they are ALL technologically superior to us now. I-shit-you-not. Take a quick visit to South Korea - or Japan - or Sweden for God's sake. You'll feel like the country bumkin that you are, not understanding how to use the "new-fangled" phone "a-yuh".

Even the cost of gasoline isn't enough to garner much more than a few grunts of displeasure from fat CNN-trusting couch potatoes... the ones who can AFFORD gas (not those who were abandoned in New Orleans, for example or the ones who are sent to die in Iraq. No.. I mean the ones with the cash to buy SUVs. The ones whos votes are not disallowed by "ol Jeb" during an election.)

Yeah.. there's another thing. Jeb GAVE the United States of America to his fucking COUSIN and you did NOTHING ABOUT IT!?! The entire WORLD is rolling on the floor laughing at us! (remember, our Canadian fortunes are 100% tied to America). America - such a dream to have lost without even a fight. Your founding fathers had a dream, but even Thomas Jefferson realized before his death that they had lost to the corporations. It broke his heart then because he knew that it was going to end like this. It just took 160 years to happen.

Fluoride IS the active ingredient in Prozac, did you know?. What a FUCKING coincidence that we can't get anyone off of their fat-complacent collective butts to complain about it. So I think I'll just join the rest of you and go watch television now. I'm sure nobody got their dander up... If you live in a non-flouridated area, then you are so messed-up by what you see that I know you are stoned beyond comprehension anyhow... just to stay sane, like the fluoridated masses. ;-)
