Teddy bears at starbucks

Who has been leaving Teddy bears at the site of Starbucks broken windows? Starbuckers disconnect with reality.
LAst night I was biking past the starbucks on Division, and saw a number of starbucks type regulars placing Teddy Bears in front of the broken windows, just like folks did during 9/11.

What a bunch of loosers! Get a grip folks, its only a window, I don't see you outraged about tortured Iraqi prisoners or something. Aren't you going to place Teddy Bears for them? I'm sure there's a "Coffee Toffee" beany baby but no "Shocky Iraqi".

I'm no oppoentent of starbucks, but this shows how pathetic and clueless its SE Division customers are.

My housemate said that she talked to one of the Starbucks employees and the worker told her that folks had been putting those stuff toys down in front, but the company is making them pick them up and hide them in the back. Sort of like the Princess Di. thing.

Hey, can't compassionate, caring people pay their respects to a broken window? Why shouldn't they show the same respect to a window that others reserve for people murdered by cars, the police or hijacked airplanes?

As for me, I'll be flying my flag at half mast in commemoration of this heroic, fallen window.
