Lars call Starbuck protestors "evil idiots"

In his radio program today, Lars Larson called the people protesting the new Starbucks store at SE Division & 20th "evil idiots".
Also Larson labeled the group "un-american", "un-patriotic", "un-business", etc.
how appropriate 05.May.2004 13:25

.

Now being opposed to corporate interest is un-american and un-patriotic; Mussolini would be so pleased.

"Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism as it is a merge of state and corporate power."

-Benito Mussolini

you're right 05.May.2004 15:09

jesus understood

Lars is "on the money w/ this one."

I guess people in this city should just be told that their city cares more about the profits of starbucks then their concerns for their community. Truly those are some embarassing and distressing values.

"No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
Matthew 6:24
"I say it again--it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!"
Matthew 19:24

Er 05.May.2004 15:33

grammar nazi

Someone please inform Lars that the prefix 'un' rarely attaches to nouns and most certainly does not attach to 'business.' Reading 'un-business' is roughly akin to hearing nails on a chalkboard. Shudder.

People who use "evil" 05.May.2004 15:57

speak no evil

People who use the word "evil" to describe others with whom they disagree, are idiots.

Not evil, but stupid 05.May.2004 16:36

I just passed by that new store this afternoon. If it were not for the vandalism I would not have even known it existed and neither would thousands of other people. The parking lot was jammed. All the tables inside and out filled. There was a line waiting to buy. Starbucks could not have paid for better advertising. Even the black clad spikey kids were drinking and eating Starbucks products.

Haha 05.May.2004 17:31

Horatio

Yes, it seems the "civil disobedience' perpetrated by the so-called "activists" in granola-town has backfired. LMAO!

hey lars! 05.May.2004 19:40

re:evil idiots-takes one to know one! I'm sure starbucks is bussing in people from the burbs and nw to make them look busy and they'll all go home to their snout houses where they usually drink instant anyway

Correction 05.May.2004 19:41

Da

Wrong, dumbasses. Lars called the vandals and the arsonist "evil idiots".
