Pride Northwest and local clubs host awareness events

Pride Northwest, the non-profit organization that produces the annual gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender festival and parade, and CC Slaughters, Egyptian Club, Panorama and Silverado, sponsors of Pride 2004, will host awareness events throughout May.
Find out what's in store for festival- and parade-goers this year, including who the entertainers, keynote speakers and grand marshall will be. Sign up for a volunteer shift or make a donation to support Pride 2004. Register your organization as a parade contingent or reserve a festival booth. Pride Northwest and several Pride 2004 sponsors will provide entertainment, door prizes, special guests and much more! Cover charges may apply. Proceeds benefit Pride Northwest.

Portland's Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, June 19, noon-11 p.m. and Sunday, June 20, noon-6 p.m. at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. The Pride Parade steps off in the Pearl District, heads down Stark Street and winds through Old Town on Sunday, June 20, beginning at 11:15 a.m.
