Mark Lakeman running for City Commissioner position #4!

I just checked out the voter's pamphlet and saw that local community activist Mark Lakeman is running for city council commissioner.
Portland, OR--

I just checked out the voter's pamphlet and saw that local community activist Mark Lakeman is running for city council commissioner against Randy Leonard.

I have seen Mark's work on projects he has done with the local non-profit City Repair Project (www.cityrepair.org) and last year heard him introduce Starhawk at the Village Building Convergence.

All I can say is, if you vote then consider voting for Lakeman. He is a real human being and knows how to speak truth to power.

If you don't vote, I think it may be too late to register-- does anyone know?

Anyhow, voting for local positions is way more empowering than voting for president. And I'd bet if all the folks that know him voted for him he would have a chance at winning.
