NW Resistance Against Genetic Engineering has a new office and we'd like you to help us put it to use! Join us for an open house on Wednesday, April 14 - drop in anytime from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The new space is at 3347 SE Belmont, above the Belmont Inn. (Enter between the Belmont Inn and the Blue Monk.) We have multiple Internet connections, a conference room and a great view of Southeast Belmont. Have a snack and meet fellow RAGERS! We will have refreshments and casual conversation about all things GE and beyond. Some of us are just returning from the National GEAN conference with stories to share. We're also planning for the Reclaim the Commons events in San Francisco this June. If you've been involved with the genetic engineering issue in the past or have always wanted to get involved, this is your chance to get plugged in. There are lots of volunteer opportunities available including tabling, planning public talks, contacting other local groups and planning house parties. If you're fed up with GE or simply want to see what the buzz is about, please join us this Wednesday. We're looking forward to meeting you there!
