Dennis Kucinich Continues his Presidential Campaign

SALEM, OR (03-28)

Dennis Kucinich took his Presidential campaign to Oregon's state capital yesterday. Mainstream media has largely ignored his campaign since from the outset, he was not considered a possible front runner. Even today, with seemingly no chance to win his party's nomination, he continues his campaign with enthusiasm, hoping to influence the political stance of today's Democratic party.
"If we can bring progressive principles to this party, there's a possibility of very powerful change in this country ... and Oregon can be part of that."

Salem's local paper, The Statesman Journalreports:
The candidate delivered a speech outlining his plans for peace, universal health care and more jobs for Americans, and then fielded questions about topics including affordable education, the war on terrorism and Ralph Nader's independent run for president.
