Dear Radio Friend,
The latest Shortwave Report (March 5) is up at the website  http://www.outfarpress.com/outfarpress/shortwave.shtml in both broadcast quality (13.2MB) and quickdownload or streaming form (3.3MB) (28:58)

This week's show features stories from Radio Netherlands, the Voice of Russia, China Radio International, Spanish National Radio, and Radio Havana Cuba.
From Netherlands-The Carter Center has abandoned its attempt to mediate beween factions in Venevuela. A court in the Netherlands has released from prison all small-time drug smugglers. Then part of an analysis of the US Presidential campaign, comparing Bush and Kerry.
From Russia- On Tuesday, Putin received an American politician, Henry Kissinger. Revelations of widespread bugging of UN officials and others by British and US operatives continue to surface. The Bush Doctrine to change the political structure of the Middle East is the subject of a commentary. Israel has announced it will step up its military operations on occupied Palestinian lands.
From China- In Nepal, rebels clashed with government forces. S Korea says it will continue communicating with the North despite the US opposition to dialogue. China and the US have released reports criticizing each others Human Rights records.
From Spain- The EU continued its ban on US poultry, and Mexico, Japan, S Korea, and China have expanded their bans. Then an editorial on why the US wants to speed up a provisional constitution in Iraq. Israel has returned to its "track and kill" policy against Palestinian militants. Then an update from Wed on the situation in Venezvuela.
From Cuba- A Viewpoint about the chaos being created in Venezvuela by opposition forces. Then a report on the situation in Haiti, and the isolation Aristide is subject to in the Central African Republic.

All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. It's free to rebroadcast, please notify me if you're airing it and haven't notified me in the last month, please mention the website if you only air a portion. If you just want to listen and have a slow connection, try the streaming version- lower sound quality but good enough and way easier if you don't have a high-speed internet connection. If streaming is a problem because of your slow connection, download the smaller file- it takes 20 minutes or less, and will play swell in any mp3 player application (RealPlayer, Winamp, Quicktime, iTunes, etc) you have on your computer.
This program will be aired on Friday evening at 7pm on KZYX/Z Philo CA, you might be able to stream via  http://www.kzyx.org
There are several other streams that work better-   http://www.freakradio.org  Freak Radio Santa Cruz (96.3fm) now streams this program on Friday at 9:30am (PST)
Also check out LavaLamp Radio (Japan)-  http://www.radiolavalamp.org
streaming the SWR, check out the schedule.
And the Partytown streams are great and informative-  http://www.partytown.com/radio
I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated. Any stations rebroadcasting this (or listeners) are welcome to donate for production costs. You can do so through the website. Many thanks to those that have donated! No Guilt!
