Jane Elliott, "The Anatomy of Prejudice" 7:30 pm Lewis & Clark Chapel

please note that this location has changed from earlier announcements of this event.
Mon. Feb. 16th-Jane Elliott, "The Anatomy of Prejudice". Internationally known
teacher, lecturer, and diversity trainer, exposes prejudice and bigotry for what it is, an irrational class system based on purely arbitrary
factors.

In response to the assassination of MLK Jr, she devised the controversial and startling "Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes" exercise, which labels
participants as inferior or superior based solely on what color eyes they are assigned in the exercise, exposing them to the experience of being
a minority. OPB's Frontline did a wonderful piece last year about Elliott and her work, called "A Class Divided". Even if you saw it, this will be
an excellent event NOT to miss!

To confront Elliott's work is to be dramatically affected by it. 7:30 pm, Lewis & Clark College, Agnes Flanagan Chapel, North Gate parking, off Palatine Hill Rd.

FREE and open to the public. For more info call
