Call Wyden

Wyden keeps appeasing Bush
I just called Senator Wyden's office and due to the heavy volume of traffic that he is getting it took me about 4 minutes to get through. Obviously I am not the only one ticked off about the way that Wyden keeps appeasing Bush. His stance/comprimise on the forest bill was pathetic and voting for the drug industry Medicare bill is unforgiveable. Give him a call
Senator Ron Wyden
Washington, DC: 202-224-5244
I called Wyden 25.Nov.2003 11:35

there was no wait

I cheery voice answered right away and thanked me for saying I won't vote for him again. She sure didn't sound like she was being met with a barage of calls from angry, frustrated and disgusted constituents. It's too bad - but I'm really not surprised he's just like the rest of them.

I will e-mail 25.Nov.2003 21:32

I will e-mail him (or whoever receives the e-mail, some staffer I suppose) and let him know that I will have to start voting Green now. I e-mailed him before the vote and ask him not to vote on the so-called prescription drug benefit bill. Some benefit! Everything coming out of the government now is a scam. Bu$h himself is the Grand Scam Master. That is all his presidencey has been. He was congratulating himself on the passage of that bill today on the news; he should congratulate himself; it is nothing but a gift to corporate interests. Out of the pockets of older people. I hate him.

I meant I e-mailed Wyden and asked him to vote against the bill. I only just started posting, been lurking for a long time, and I didn't realize how hard it was to proofread what you've written. Now I understand why so many posts have so many typos in them. I thought people were just being careless; now I understand.
