The October 22nd Anarchist March (A Sonnett)

First effort a Shakesperean poetry
The fuzz they rode beside us in the rain
Bicycle cops they hempt the anarchist
They kept them on the sidewalk in a train
To make examples to who would resist
For now you see we all must keep our place
To make clear we who would cannot insist
'Tis sure they want to rule the human race
In hopes that liberty cease and desist
But we cannot allow this to take place
By all that we hold to be true and clear
We thus keep liberty of time and space
To make the sacrifice of life so dear
Again the wise and brave take to the streets
And risk the victory or the defeat
