Same shit, different day. This guy never gives up. In truth, it reads to me like a dumb-ass cop trying to get dumb-ass dumb-asses to commit dumb-ass transgressions against the dumb-ass Homeland Security agency.

This sounds like some whacky anti american rhetoric. It's demeaning to the U.S. to make unwarraneted claims. Seriously, it's destructive to the reality of foreign policy to post B.S. articles. The U.S. has made some bad choices, but you don't need to lie to fit in. There's anti-american (this) and there is legimate mistakes, learn the difference and get a day job.

Hmm, the two responses above sound like they're written by the same person. And, what are they getting so uppity about? The vehemence with which they're attacking a fairly innocuous article is surprising. It's simply one person's reaction to what other people have reported to him/her, not agitating for "transgressions against Homeland Security." Yeesh. Whatever.

These upcoming American attacks might not mean a "new war" but rather "pin prick attacks" like Clinton launched against Iraq in 1998 (Operation Desert Fox) or those missiles he lobbed at Afghanistan and Sudan.

Another possibility is that these attacks are aimed at Iraq and Afghanistan in that the so-called "war" has not been won and the USA effectively needs to reinvade these nations.

Taking a look at the past decades, it would absolutely not be surprising if the US is preparing for a new war on some small and under develloped country. The Iraq oil adventure is only causing Bush and his cronies embarrasment and world wide criticism, so a new front would be welcome for them (thousands of civilian lives lost does not disturb their sleep anyway's). First destroying a country's infrastructure, then giving reconstruction contracts to US corporations will serve their agenda well.

The question I'd like ot get an answer on, is: When are the people of the world going to stop this mad-dog in the White House?

After seeing this posting a while ago, I decided to call a dear friend that lives in Aberdeen, Scotland to see what he had to
say about this. There is a joint RAF-USAF base there and he lives not hardly 3 miles from it, and he says there has been
an unbelievable amount of air traffic coming in and out of there over the past 3-4 days. It's like the US military is moving a
lot of their flying stock out of the States and shipping it off overseas for WHATEVER reason. Aberdeen appears to be mere
refueling stop as little of what comes in stays around. So, maybe this posting ain't bullshit at all, but a powerful warning
to those "who have eyes to see/ears to hear" that some serious business is about to take place. Don't belittle these type

This afternoon I visited a friend who has a 20's-something son in the U.S. Air Force. The son has a job that is
obviously one calling for security clearances, and the father & son have a pre-arranged code that is rather simple
as they are aware that the son's phone calls are likely monitored. According to my friend, he got the coded message
that something BIG is indeed about to take place. Something really big, and he got no clue as to what it is, just that
our government is taking a lot of massive effort to gear up for it. So, I wouldn't be so quick to poobah this warning at
all. It seems strange that anyone would really. What is up? My feeling is...we'd all better keep our heads up now!

Reading some of the comments above, it really makes you think that some "provocation" is being set up (i.e. another phony Terrorist attack ala 9-11), with the US military being prepositioned to attack the designated Patsy country.

Someone in this string is messing with you all. They are trying to make fools of everyone on Indymedia. This has been going on for at least a week. There are phony stories, posts that re-enforce those stories, posts that egg others on. This person is sitting back at their computer and laughing at all the people he/she is fooling. There is a pattern. They are easy to spot if you open your eyes.

Indymedia deserves better than this. Sharpen up people.

I normally discount reports like this Scotland one, but something of it rings true to me.

1) Before 9-11, Bush polled at about 50%. Post 9-11 he peaked at 90%. Before the attacks he was a lame duck president embroiled in corporate scandals. Post 9-11 the reactionary Republican agenda moved through with little debate, with the population shut out of the process.

2) Polls are usually bad science. But even the corporate media polls on Iraq now indicate BushCo is losing control of the American population  http://www.pollingreport.com/iraq.htm The propaganda war was supposed to manufacture the consent of the people, but Joseph Wilson and the failure to find WMD have exposed the Bush lies. The dam is close to breaking, with mainstream journalists like Joshua Marshall and Sy Hersh busting the Niger story wide open last week.

The same week as those two articles, three former Senior C.I.A. officials testify in front of Senate Democrats. In damning detail, they explain how the White House defrauded the American people with a manufactured case for war. They talked about Dick Cheney's 4 visits to Langley, and his personal pressure on CIA analysts. All three said this kind of pressure was unprecedented, and represented a clear politicization of the agency. The hearings were ignored of course, but represent a further break in the dam. The CIA, enraged at being manipulated and then scapegoated, may take its revenge in the form of leaks. For now it is former officials, but they also intimated their statements were representative of many current employees in the agency.

Then the helicopter attack where 16 soldiers die. The polls were taken before this attack, so when the new approval ratings emerge next week, Bush is headed for political freefall. He could reach a 40% approval rating, with Iraq approval sinking to 40% or below. This kind of damage would be impossible to counteract with conventional propaganda.

There are no soldiers for a big new war. There is no way Bush can get Congressional approval for an attack on Syria with the American public being so skeptical. One month ago when John Bolton gave a Iraq-style scare speech about Syria's "Nuclear Program," no one listened. The neocons must have recognized this as their imminent fall from power. The influence makers know that they could not sell the public another war, not under the present conditions.

And yet the PNAC goonsquad of bankers, weapons makers, and oil barons thirsts for another war of conquest to consolidate their new empire in the Middle East. Israel dreams of eliminating Syria and with it, Lebanon, for military and economic reasons. The Republican propagandists (Rove and Company) need a new terror attack or war to change the polls, which show no signs of changing. The elites in America will support a new war because it will allow them to further bankrupt the government, allowing for the rollback of all social programs. In other words, it is a play right out of the PNAC plan for "perpetual warfare." Manufactured wars against weak countries, with a compliant press hiding their true motives and the resulting enrichment of the elites.

Bush is facing a crisis as hawks like John McCain and Chuck Hagel have compared Iraq to Vietnam. The Democrats now seriously believe they can win the election, despite Bush's massive election slush fund ($300 million or more) because the poll numbers are so grim.

Nevertheless, BushCo has prepared for such a public revolt with help from Diebold and ES&S, the electronic voting machines. Despite the legimitate possibility of outright election theft, the machines will be used since so many states have already purchased them. We may be able to prevent more from being purchased, but there is little hope of installing a paper trail on the machines, or having a fair election in 2004.

Now, the election theft will work in close races for House or Senate seats. If the results produce a 5% swing in what the polls predicted, it will quickly be explained as "Bush loyalists," or "white male support," as was done in the Georgia election fraud of 2002 for the Gubernatorial and Senate elections. This will happen all over the country.

With exit polls gone and the VNS disbanded, there will be no way to prove the results were manufacured. The system was aligned perfectly for the Republicans.

Just keep it close, keep it near 50%, and let the machines do the rest.

But the plan falls apart if Bush reaches 40% in the polls. Then the fraud is too difficult to pass along even to the corporate media. They will swallow a Florida again, but not something that blatant.

So back to this week. Bush is reaching a potential fall into the low 40's in the polls as the Iraq quagmire worsens and our military looks increasingly weak. The PNAC agenda is in danger. Some Republicans are even advising Bush to cut and run, as State Dept. stories indicate.

This week Noam Chomsky predicted a "new scare" in a talk. For months he has written about Reagan's use of the same tactics (Grenada, Libya) before the 1984 elections. Without a new war, the neocons will lose the White House and their perpetual war may end. Like Kennedy in the early stages of Vietnam, Bush is at the critical point where we decide whether to get in deep or bail out. The next few months will decide.

PNAC can not risk an end to their political influence. The voting machine scam won't work if Bush is below 45%, so they have to go to Plan C and start another war. In their original plans, the Iraq war would segway seamlessly into the Syrian invasion, but the failure to find WMD hampered their effort. Now the American people are starting to call for a return of the troops in Iraq.

One other reason for attack.

The Bush Administration is finally being asked for documents relating to what they knew about 9-11, and calls for an independent inquiry are rising from Senate Democrats.

The PATRIOT Act has become a political liability as people hear about its implications. Republicans may lose the far-right libertarian vote that is so crucial in the Midwest and Southern states. Wesley Clark and Howard Dean are talking about repealing parts or all of the act. Many in the national security and intelligence circles will not tolerate the Warren Court rulings and want to crush civil liberties. This issue is crucial for them, and a new war will eliminate discussion of the PATRIOT Act

Clearly PNAC does not play by the rules and will manufacture another terrorist attack to reignite their flames of their perpetual war. Perhaps they know of an attack thats coming and will do nothing, in a stand down similar to the one I feel happened on 9-11.

In other words, I believe the story about these planes in Scotland. I feel that the reactionary elements in the government are planning something, confident that their plans will never be exposed. After all, only a few thousand people will view this site, at most. The story of their pre-made war would never be told, and the Scotland plane departures would be lost in the memory hole. A manufactured war would bury the new questions about 9-11, and allow the junta to continue their war on democracy.

The next few months should be interesting, but I know check my new with a profound fear that a new global conflict is being planned at the highest circles. I hope in one month I don't remember this article as we submerge into a new Middle East conflict.

If what you are saying is correct, we may be in for another stage terror attack. Remember: many of the elements used to attack Afghanistan and and Iraq were in place and ready long before the pretext, i.e. the "attacks" that precipitated the invasions took place. Maybe Bush is also thinking about using the next attack as a pretext to push Patriot Act II through congress, win the next election, and declare martial law using FEMA to "control" the political unrest, if it doesn't succeed smoothly.

Putting into play the PNAC statement of "principles" for world domination is the true agenda of bushco. Nothing is else matters to them. While mounting such a secret massing of airpower for a strike on one of the remaining six targets might seem farfetched three years ago, it is certainly very believable today. We have to wake people up to this threat, not only as to the rest of the world, but as to the very survival of our Republic as knew, before the pResident was handed the keys to the White House by a 5-4 Supreme Court decision.

Both attacks occurred because American NeoCons needed a pretext to go on it's war of conquest.

The Twin Towers happened to allow them to go into Afghanistan. The Bali Bombing occurred to get Australia's parliament to approve of action against Iraq: prior to the bombing the Aussies were swithering on action, then they changed their minds and became resolute in support of the war.

Now, all the rhetoric is against Syria. Apparently, they have Saddam's billions; no, wait a minute, they have his WMDs; no wait a minute, that's where all the Iraqi leaders went; no wait a minute, that's where the Iraqi resistance is coming from.

You see they need an pretext to go in (just like Poland in 1939, eh?) and terrorist attacks give them that. It's all smoke and mirrors. The terrorism is a trick to distract us, whilst the real plan is put into action. Just like stage magic, the illusion only works because we don't notice what's really going on. Eg, we don't notice inordinate build-ups of USAF bombers at UK bases, the kind of which has been observed by people recently.

Let's guess the next attack is gonna be a dirty bomb somewhere ... how about London? Why there? Because there's been rather a lot of "speculation" from senior police officers and intelligence officials "warning" that it's only a matter of time before it happens.

I'm not saying there will be an US-UK invasion of Syria, but the US might give the Israeli's air or tank support.

I found these article from the Lyndon Larouche site. I know some people have problem with his politics, but in terms of his intelligence and analysis he is usually spot on. Note that these analysis were printed BEFORE all the recent reports about the flurry of US military activity in foreign bases. Also, note in particular the NOVEMBER 2003 timetable for an American/Israeli attack on Syria and Iran, then later on a 2004 attack on North Korea just before the 2004 (s)elections. Reading these reports retroactively is kind of scary in that you can see THE PLAN falling into place before your very eyes. It all fits. Please distribute this information far and wide. Maybe we can stop this thing before the Fascists in Washington DC and Tel Aviv take down the entire planet...

LaRouche said that we have reached a strategic danger-point where, unless "Beast-man" Dick Cheney is dumped from the Bush Administration, and "Beast-man" Sharon is stopped, a new Middle East war is virtually certain between now and some point in November, with the possible new, horrific feature of Israeli use of nuclear weapons against targets inside the territory of Iran. LaRouche further warned: The U.S. military has no capability for carrying out any further wars, so long as American forces are tied down in Iraq—unless the U.S.A., too, were to resort to the use of nuclear weapons. Thus, if the current, planned Israeli war stunt is not stopped now, we also face the prospect—going into the pre-U.S.A. election Autumn of 2004—of a desperate Cheney-led and chicken-hawk-dominated Bush Administration being tempted to use nuclear weapons against North Korea. At this moment, the neo-conservatives in and around the Bush Administration are pushing for Israel to use nuclear weapons to set the precedent for the later American use of mini-nukes against targets in North Korea. The controllers of this neo-con war-party apparatus need their Sharon asset to do the job, to set off this chain of events.

LaRouche concluded, that an American Presidential crackdown on Sharon is the only near-certain way to stop this Sharon war plan. `A Clean Break' Revisited

Turn the clock back seven years. On July 8, 1996, Richard Perle, currently a member, and formerly the head of the Defense Policy Board in the Don Rumsfeld Pentagon, delivered a document to the new Israeli Prime Minister, Jabotinskyite Benjamin Netanyahu. Perle, and a team of American neo-cons, had been tasked by Netanyahu—through the Israeli think tank, the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies (IASPS)—to draft a strategy for abrogating the Oslo Accords and overturning the entire concept of "comprehensive land for peace," in favor of a jackboot policy of U.S.-Israeli-Turkish raw military conquest and occupation.

The short policy memo, which Netanyahu, and his successor-Likud Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, totally adopted as the core strategy of their administrations, spelled out a four-pronged attack on the peace process and the entire Arab world. It has become a self-evident truth that, since the Bush "43" and Sharon governments came into power simultaneously in early 2001, "A Clean Break" has been the guiding strategic doctrine of both—particularly following the irregular warfare attacks on New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001.

On Oct. 5, for the first time in 30 years, Israel launched bombing raids against Syria, targetting a purported "Palestinian terrorist camp" inside Syrian territory. The bombing immediately raised fears that Sharon is preparing a nuclear strike, most likely against Iran. A senior Israeli intelligence source told EIR that Sharon's action was clearly backed by the "pro-Sharon" crowd in Washington, led by Vice President Dick Cheney and Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz: "They continue to be committed to their basic plan: Destroy Iran and Syria, and make Israel the dominant power in the region, and drive the Palestinians across the Jordan River." The source added that there "is obviously an agreement in Washington to do nothing." In a press conference a day after the Israel attack on Syria, President George W. 7.Secret trade deals go on in the background in stocks linked to Biotechnology, Aerospace and Nuclear parameters, with proxy punters making a quick buck for the Zionist coffers, all later untraceable of course.

8.Bush has another "premonition" that his country is going to need him in a time of crisis, looking into the cameras as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, in his actor's role as stupid gentile working for the 52nd state of Israel. 11.Before you know it, "something big" happens, but this time there are enough people who are wary and understand that the clues conveniently planted by so-called "Al-Qaeda" operatives are infact pathetic attempts at framing Arabs when infact, Sepharadim Arab Jews are dressed up and willing to go all out for the greater goal, and they won't mind shouting "Allahu Akbar" with their subterfuge either. The Bush Cabal now faces two fundamental problems with their plan for the New American Empire: a lack of troops and public support. This morning Dianne Feinstein was asked about the oncoming enlistment crisis in the American military. Almost half the troops will not re-enlist according to surveys, and even fewer of the reservists will sign up again. At a time when we need more troops to secure Iraq, the volunteer Army is deflating rapidly.

Feinstein weakly replied that a volunteer Army is preferable, but it may be unrealistic. Clearly, BushCo wants to manage the oil contracts and continue the Iraq occupation. The result of this greed combined with the neocon snubbing of the UN will prevent any international support. So the White House now face two options:

1) Retrain Iraqi military and quickly install Chalabi as permanent head of the governing council. Oil contracts would be still be handed out through the CPA, but the security would be done by private paramilitaries, former fedeyeen, and the Iraqi military. Any resistance would be crushed quickly, and Shiite and Kurd support would be coerced through violence or purchased outright. This is the "mow the place down" scenario from Trent Lott and the "realist conservatives."

2) Reinstitute a draft, with a "call to duty for Patriotic Americans." As all observers know, Bush will not sacrifice the oil contracts, and thus we will enjoy no support from the international community. But mothers will not send their sons to die in a war with questionable motives. Simply put, in today's political climate, a draft would be political suicide for Bush.

So how to manufacture the consent?

1) Some have predicted an attack on an ally, perhaps London or Israel. Such an attack would be the perfect pretext to deepen the UK/US/Israeli alliance and expand the military efforts with new British and Israeli troops. An attack on Israel would mobilize the US in particular, since any calls for American diplomacy would be labeled as anti-semitism by the ADL.

2) An attack on American soil. This is possible, and would allow for the expansion of the PATRIOT Act or the installment of the secret PATRIOT II. The draft could be reconstituted within days of the attack. It would justify Iraq because Bush would claim "See, the terrorist threat is real, and we had to go to Iraq." This type of Orwellian propaganda will be swallowed whole by the "News people" at TimeWarner/AOL/NewsCorp/GE/Vivendi/Disney/Infinity

3) Major attack on troops in Afghanistan or Iraq. This would also allow for the draft, but would weaken Bush politically. Unlikely at best, though with deteroriating situation in both countries, this may occur irrespective of BushCo's wishes.

4) Some have even gone so far as to suggest an Oliver Stone/JFK style scenario. Theidea being that Cheney, like LBJ, will give the capitalist elites the war they crave. LBJ didn't just go after Vietnam, he also murdered in Laos, Cambodia, and Indonesia in the last neocon "perpetual war." Similarly Cheney would directly attack Syria and Iran, and sponsor more outright attacks in Venezuela.

At this point to guess is nothing more than roulette, but all four scenarios would be a layup for experienced CIA psych-ops and a tightly controlled media. The hysteria, fear, confusion, and anger stemming from such events would give PNAC the new war they crave.
