Come join the Portland Area Workers' Rights Board as a panel of community leaders listen to moving stories from immigrant workers. The Immigrant Workers' Freedom Ride has returned and many Freedom Riders will testify.
The hearing will take place on Tuesday, October 14 at 7 pm at IRCO (the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization), at NE 103rd and Glisan.

The WRB panel, chaired by Multnomah County Commissioner Serena Cruz, will hear from immigrant workers about the challenges they face and the contributions they make to our society. Other WRB panel members include Ross Williams of Citizens for Sensible Transportation, Denny Scott from the Western Council of Industrial Workers, diversity trainer Richard Loudd, former Congressman Jim Jontz, State Senator Avel Gordly and Armando Gonzales of MECHA.
