Books to Prisoners is an opportunity to provide information and education to persons who are often cut off from educational and alternative media sources.
At the Tuesday September 23rd 6 p.m. Books to Prisoners Meeting we decided that regular work-parties will happen on Mondays and Tuesdays 5-8 p.m.
Books to Prisoners is losing two of its organizers. This last meeting tonight addressed the need for new volunteers to continue organizing the project.
Issues where help is still sorely needed are in the areas of:
*Connections with similar organizations
*And all other general organizational needs to continue and advance the project
Issues that volunteers have committed to working on:
*Email and other computer concerns
*Book drop boxes and donations
*keeping up with mailings at work parties
