Commercial logging continues to degrade the lives of countless beings on the planet. We're standing in its way - come find out more. We will teach you what we know, and learn from each other. For the forest! For the planet! For our futures! For ourselves!
The Cascadia Forest Alliance (CFA) is holding an action camp at the "Solo Timber Sale", 167 acres of at-risk ancient forest in the Mt. Hood National Forest, from Sunday, Sept. 25th - Friday, Oct. 12th, with extension possible if Freres Lumber tries to log at any point during October. Skills taught will include: tree climbing, nonviolence, species identification, map and compass, wilderness first aid, and legal rights. There will also be a wilderness adventure/ forest knowledge and skills trek from Friday, September 22nd through Sunday, September 24th. Spaces in this activity are limited, so register soon! All events are free, though donations are welcome. For more information, contact the CFA at 503-241-4879, or email at  wildcamp@wildmail.com See you in the forest!
