Pictures from the arrests at the University of Portland tree-sit on Aug. 19, 2003
The arrests were for stepping off of the sidewalk onto U of P property, as far as I can tell. The arrestees did not appear to be trespassing at the time of their arrests. They were sitting next to the street observing the tree-sit arrests with other observers and the media. No others were singled-out in this manner.
