On Thursday 22, the man occupying the White House -- George W. Bush- will be speaking at a $2000-a- plate luncheon at the University of Portland to raise funds for the 2004
election.

WHAT: Public demonstration in Columbia Park. We will meet at 10am. March from the park to meet Bush and his donors and tell them PORTLAND SAYS NO! Bring signs expressing your sentiments! Educational opportunities & voter registration.

-Don't go to work
-Form an affinity(action) group
-HEAD TO THE PARK: Bring friends, music, art, performance, dialogue, questions, solutions, food to share, and your voice.
-Join/create an ongoing transformation/occupation

His reign has been a nightmare:

Unprovoked invasion and illegal occupation of Iraq
Lies about weapons of mass destruction
Massive budget deficits
Stolen election
Tax cuts for the rich
Growing unemployment
Cronyism & corporate crime & corruption at all-time highs
International law flouted
International treaties abandoned
U.S. Bill of Rights subverted
Unions busted
Gay rights challenged
Environmental laws and regulations gutted
Citizen rights trampled on
War on women and the poor
Immigrants treated cruelly and unjustly

The "Thursday 22", in spite of the correct date in two other places, is confusing.

I fixed it before I sent it out. It's in both copies of the release here.
