Remnants of Borg

Last autumn, Thomas Creek Lumber logged half of the units of a timber sale named Borg, a beautiful set of ancient trees located in the Oak Grove Watershed of Mt. Hood National Forest. An injunction has been placed on this timber sale until October. Please visit this sale and other beautiful sales such as Bear, Cub, Solo, Hipo, East & West 5-mile, and Tarzan before the lumber companies cut them this summer or autumn.

alji

i hiked through this forest less than a year ago.
i remember the sale tags on the trees.
i remember how beautiful it was up in the forests there.
i recognize the area.
i could have cried when i saw the forest that i once slept in cut to the ground.
this shit must stop.
i send my love to all the forest defenders.
godspeed.
