Asscroft pictures - very late

There were probably about 250 people present on Friday, at the Asscroft protest across from the Mark Hatfield bldg on SW 3rd & Main (or Jefferson). There were about as many cops, though the riot cops were only brought out to "give the other cops potty breaks."

All but one cop had their name tags in view. Someone reported the no-name cop to Rosy Sizer, who said she'd take care of it. The reason provided for his lack of name ID, "he's new." Great. Anyway, one person said she sent him "back to the van." Another person said he was just moved around the block. All in all, it was a pretty uneventful day. All was done by about 2pm. No one got arrested or had their face ground into the asphalt. Asscroft came and went, unseen by the general populace ... kinda' like democracy.
