Peace Camp Under Attack

At least on person arrested, materials confiscated at the Peace Camp. Reich Marshall Kreoker has struck again. Kroeker's ridiculous band of idiots, torturers, murderers, and willful enemies of the US and Oregon Constitutions, have crossed the line which separated them from being dangerous morons and traitors to the US and now may qualify them as being full blown terrorists under current US law.

I just passed by the Peace Camp and saw several squad cars on the scene. All of the materials at the camp appeared to have been confiscated. In a brief conversation with a person on the scene, I learned that at least one person has been arrested; a man by the name of Todd. The person that I spoke with said that the police had failed to convey the charges.
Stupidity is not a crime, of course. If it were, then Kroeker's ineptitude would be a capital offense. Kroeker should have stepped down as the depth of his incompetence and contempt for the law became apparent. He now stands in violation of Constitutional provisions, including the right to assemble, and the right to free speech. Since it appears that his actions are politically motivated, his actions constitute terrorism, and he should be brought into custody immediately, and shipped to Guantanimo Bay for interrogation and tribunal.

I'm sure more will be posted about this crime.

Well, I just got back into Portland today from a couple weeks off from the encampment, that I've been at since March 21 and got a welcome home from the portland police. Officer Westbrook and Lt. Humsperger arrested me tonight and took everything from the vigil, seems as thought the police are still up to no good. I was released shortly after being arrested, which is a complete suprise considering that if you get arrested on a Friday at 6:00 pm they usually hold you for the weekend. I did have a chance to do some good yoga and meditation while in the holding cell and now I'm back at the encampment. Officer Westbrook did tell me that all the property that was taken is not going to be release, because it was abandonded and would not give a reciept. If anybody would like to make a donation or help out in any way stop by or give me a call at the camp at 971-570-7018, anything would help because the took it all food, signs, blankets, flowers, clothes, etc... It's great to be back in Portland, much peace and love to all.
Blessings, Todd

Yeah, we can call the mayor's office (503) 823-4120, Fax: (503) 823-3588,  mayorkatz@ci.portland.or.us

... but who else?

Move On

Or... you could pick up the garbage that you refer to as a camp, and get a life.

But, if you insist on calling Vera, make sure to compliment her on whatever circus-tent of a dress she happens to be wearing. Hey, look on the bright (and often VERY bright) side, she clearly wears recycled clothing.

If the signs that have now littered 4th Avenue for months contained the Starbucks logo, or the Golden Arches, do you think they would have been allowed to stay? OK, so you're not really advertising anything, but making a political statement. In that case, if those signs (alleged artwork), were election signs for George W. Bush, or Gordon Smith, do you think Vera would have allowed that garbage dump of a camp to stay this long?

So go ahead, call Vera. Call Erik Sten while your at it (please let him know the city has an excellent dental plan that can help fix that huge gap between his teeth). Don't worry, they don't seem to have anything better to do.

I'm all for peace, but building a garbage dump in the middle of the city, and labeling it a "Peace Camp," does nothing to convey a message of peace. And jamming up phone lines just makes you look pathetic.

Gee 12.Jul.2003 02:48

Firetruck

And I thought I was creating artwork for people to enjoy. Sorry I offended the artistic sensibilities of the drunks driving by, cussing at people, and making a worse public nusiance than anyone helping out at the peace display.

I guess I'll have to go in monday and pick up my garbage down at 17th and Madison.

Troll Indulger

To Move On, have to agree with you on the "circus-tent" proposal.

But on this one: "If the signs that have now littered 4th Avenue for months contained the Starbucks logo, or the Golden Arches, do you think they would have been allowed to stay?" , I would have to say yes, if the price was right.

And on: "In that case, if those signs (alleged artwork), were election signs for George W. Bush, or Gordon Smith, do you think Vera would have allowed that garbage dump of a camp to stay this long?" On that one, I would have to say, at least maybe, if not probably, so I missed your point on that one.

To JJ, I'm sure SOMEBODY would care what you think- if you did, that is.
