Kettle Range Rendezvous Weekend: June 27-29
Come to the beautiful Kettle River Range Mountains of northeastern Washington's Colville National Forest and experience some of the largest and wildest roadless areas left in the State. Join us for a weekend of hikes, camping, wilderness events, music, and activism at the first annual Kettle Range Rendezvous Weekend. Friday June 27: Volunteer/Activist Campout in the Kettle Range 7:00 PM-Sunrise. Join us for a night of food, beer, music, strategy, and fun in the Kettle River Range. This campout is open to all past and present Kettle Range volunteers and forest activists across the region. RSVP today! ( email@example.com or 747-1663).
Saturday June 28: Public Hikes, Barbecue, and Campout in the Kettle Range.
Call and reserve your spot for one or all of these events. We will be leading three free hikes from the trailhead parking area at the top of Sherman Pass: Sherman Peak Loop, Wapaloosie, and Hoodoo Canyon (check out our hike schedule on the web for details: www.kettlerange.org). The barbecue will follow the hikes at the camping area adjacent to the Sherman Pass trailhead parking area and is open to everyone. After a fun day of wilderness adventure, join us for a public campout at a nearby National Forest campground right in the heart of proposed Wilderness.
