Jamie Court is the executive director of the Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights in Santa Monica, California. Jamie Court discusses how corporations have moved beyond only having rights as a legal person. He argues that since the 1970s there has been an accelerating trend where corporations have attained prominence within our culture where they ascribe rights and privileges beyond individuals, other institutions and society at large.
