PHOTOS from the Village Building Convergence - New Day School Sanctuary

The New Day School is on Clinton Street at 19th-ish or so.
The Convergence project at the New Day School is a sanctuary for use by the teachers as a sort of "chill space", where they can meditate or center themselves during the day. (One of the photos shows a scale model of the finished structure.) The school was founded by followers of Ananda Murti, a philosopher from India. Children at the school, who range from 3-5 years in age, learn yoga among other things. The sanctuary is a groovy project for a groovy place.
