Kyle Hence and John Judge are leading this group. Their latest press release was in April 2003. Kyle Hence suggested getting a video called "Aftermath" - - I haven't seen it although the UnansweredQuestions: 9/11 and the Public Safety video is a rather extraordinary piece even though it's a straight conference video recording.
It's been eight months since I've aired any program on KBOO longer than a short news story. Lectures, documentaries/spoken-word public affairs is fairly rare on KBOO outside of the weekday morning program slot. The evening news and the 6PM-7PM timeslot is one exception.
KBOO's format is 80% music, 20% news, talk radio, spoken word.
A lot of interviews, documentaries, lectures do not get played as there is only so many that can be scheduled in the 20% formatted time.
One big plus is that KBOO does not censor due to material that is too hot to air. So KBOO's policy doesn't prevent vital material from airing. All the other FCC-licensed stations in town do (perhaps not to offend the sponsors from promoting their product)
