Come and listen to a speech by Martin Luther King from
April 4, 1967 entitled "Beyond Vietnam" focusing on
racism, extreme materialism and militarism. In this
speech he outlines why the U.S. should take
initiatives to end the war in Viet Nam and speaks of a
revolution in values to end all war.
Discussion to follow on the connections between Viet
Nam and Iraq, U.S. foreign and domestic policy, and
steps to manifest a revolution of values against
racism, extreme materialism and militarism.
