Hear Lynne Stewart, NYC attorney, talk about the attack on our civil rights

Lynne Stewart, well known NYC attorney, was indicted under the Patriot Act for helping "terrorists." Targeted for her outspoken defense of the poor and political prisoners (she was the lawyer for Sheik Abdel Rahman), Lynne was indicted last year under the Patriot Act and faces 40 years in prison. She will be speaking about her case and the attack on our civil rights by the Bush regime this Friday, April 18th, at 7:30 PM at PSU, Smith Center cafeteria.
Education WithOut Borders (EWOB) is proud to present Lynne Stewart, well known civil rights attorney from New York City, for a lecture on the Bush Administration's attack of our civil rights under the Patriot Act and the "war on terrorism." Targeted for her outspoken defense of the poor and political prisoners, Lynne was indicted under the Patriot Act for aiding "terrorists" and faces 40 years in jail. John Ashcroft personally flew to NYC on the day of her arrest to announce her indictment.

She will be speaking this Friday, April 18th at 7:30 PM at Portland State University, Room 101, Parkway North (cafeteria on the ground floor), Smith Center, 1825 SW Broadway. Donations $5-10 requested for her legal defense and EWOB. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
