Film on Sunday

Historic film about the antiwar movement in the 60's. Showing is on Sunday April 13th, 8:00 pm. This is the first showing in many years. Free, no cover charge
On Sunday, April 13th at 8:00 pm, a film from the 60's antiwar movement will be shown. It will be at "The Blue Monk", 3341 SE Belmont, down the block from Zupan's and across the street from "It's a Beautiful Pizza". The movie is called "Captain Milkshake" and it was never able to get commercial distribution when it was first made, as it was the first antiwar documentary of the Vietnam era and studios and distributors wouldn't touch it. The more things change, the more they're the same... It chronicles the Berkeley protests of 1968. Free, no cover charge, on the downstairs stage at The Blue Monk. As it's in a jazz club, 21 or over only. Check out my warblog
