On Trolls

Trolls are best ignored.
As we know, trolls tend to frequent this site in times of intense turmoil. They post ridiculous and inflammatory things, and you can usually tell them by the titles alone.

Everyone here is perfectly capable of determining for themselves what they will or will not read or respond to, so I'm not going to tell you how you should deal with the trolls. I will only tell you that, in my observation, it's best to ignore them and they will go away. Posting responses to them only seems to encourage them, and to increase the negativity in the world. I put this out there for what it's worth.

Trolls are no big problem on this website. If they express opinions which dissent from the IndyMedia mainstream, they will be composted. Problem solved.

Trolls can be turned to stone 10.Apr.2003 17:41

Trolls can be turned to stone if exposed to sunlight. However that's harder than it seems. They only come out during darkness and hide behind shadow and lies. But it is possible to catch them unaware and attempt to shine some light on their wicked hearts.

But I like baiting and insulting trolls-it lets off some of the daily steam build-up from all the crap the corpies are trying to feed us. I think the trolls go away when we insult them enough-who can forget the Mullethead?

Like petty tyrants, trolls are necessary to the human condition. Pointing them out are helpful for the less aware, but otherwise do not feed them, or give them a place to sit in you psyche.

Valid point, but... 10.Apr.2003 18:24

I enjoy talking to the trolls. I am hoping that possibly one troll will come around. They have to be picking something up something of value in their troll brains.

I carried newspapers on a neighborhood route during the Nixon years. The charactures presented of both professional and labor political opinions of no-whining hip-shot conservativeism save an abandon puppy issue here or there so trolls can still have a Republican party as 'nice' or compassionate conservatives enforce as the work-bored stomach-ulcer rank and file magetically waving toward relief-fascism wherever and whomever will lead it. My trolls on the Minnis article seemed such and same. If you can't play documentary-artist Randy Burns music to a published letter, Observer has a fit, you hamster-wheel fascist critic troll.

I like the freedom to have bad grammar and spelling on an article or comment string as everyone should exercise free expression on content alone if the alternative is silence, but here is a corrected copy.

"I carried newspapers on a neighborhood route during the Nixon years. The characters presented of both professional and labor political opinions of no-whining hip-shot conservativism save an abandon puppy issue here or there so trolls can still have a Republican party as 'nice' or compassionate conservatives enforce as the work-bored stomach-ulcer rank and file magnetically waving toward relief-fascism wherever and whomever will lead it. My trolls on the Minnis article seemed such and same. If you can't play documentary-artist Randy Burns music to a published letter, Observer has a fit, you hamster-wheel fascist critic troll."

Now is your party or administration and its predecessors any less fascist, hip-shot, conservative, work-bored, stomach-ulcered, or magnetic toward relief-fascism?

Kodos for getting rid of a terrorist dictator of Iraq, but treason charges and due-process executions for setting-up a structure to do the same in the USA. I don't want to wait until its that bad to be acidic and pointed in language.

Also 'Bomb a White Liberal' needs something undrug-like and unslave-like he is not getting. American Indians can and do record their political opposition and ideas here as a form of democracy in a democracy. Let's let the fascist state win by silence or chucking all democracy is not the most favored opinion in most revolution or civil war visions. B- besting me at A- apple and WL white Liberal Political Correctness. B.A.W.L., I cry for you. Move to a new state oh oppressed one for past journalism youmust have a majority of states left where they haven't created false documentation or what's your hopelessness from. Maajaan.

Lords of the fascist cheeze need cows to milk and enslave and consumers to buy and consume it. Take those away and not democracy. No more immunity for the three branches of government officials and add an independent government accountability project expansion added as a fourth branch of government, of course without immunity.

Besting the Soviets at a peoples' commission and peoples' referendum funded branch of government equal in budget dollars to the the US-Iraqi War, 200 to 400 billion dollars. Its what makes sense with an educated electorate compared to 1787 and is what people realy want, a responsive branch of government they rotate and taking turns running.

Oh, but that's just too green or too much of a borrow from Russia?! It's really a Starr Commission run by the electorate, but let's cap case spending well below $50 billion. It could rather combat corporate interest group
spending and influence as the electorate incorporated in independence from the other three branches for citizen and anti-corruption issues alone. Public service by interning and term appointments like Peace Corps could manage it from within the peoples' branch. This idea isn't new or mine, its folk politics from the educated street activists all the way back to anti-war mvt. aginst US-Vietnam 17 year action and probablly before. I believe the Humanist orgs and print of the 20's or 30's wrote about it. Boho Grove Clubrs hated it in their 1977 establishment against such threas to their corporate-political power in the wake of anti-trust law losses. It was an organizing point to their club establishment to create a tolerable classism and hidden fascism control.

Chew baby, chew: Taft and Garfield, Eisenhower and Nixon..... JFK and Reagan were against such fascism while the later set up the conservativism for present 'removal acts' of democracy itself. Most Us president 'duck and submit' to corporate power of that club and its 'new world order power'.
