Hi folks, FYI, nobody actually asked us on the jail support/court solidarity team to come to the Lucky Lab on Thursday, April 3. The only reasons we were able to use the meeting room LAST Thursday were A: nobody else had it reserved, B: the BTA meeting already there was small and C: we had large numbers and crowded them out.
Further, it costs $100.00 to reserve it and it may already be reserved for some other group. There was no group decision to meet again at the Lucky Lab, and I don't see any tactical reason to divide arrestees into "Critical Mass arrests" and "general protester arrests". We're all in the same boat politicaly and legally, and relying on the same pool of lawyers. One meeting is better than two.
The rest of us arrestees and legal team will be meeting at the IWW union hall , 616 E Burnside, Thursday, April 3, at 7:00 PM. It only costs $30.00, and is already reserved for us. Please spread the word.
We hope to see you all there, whether you were arrested on a bike or on foot.
In Solidarity, Patrick Norton
