police / legal week of bombing

Videos or eyewitness accounts of arrests are needed badly.

Many of the people who were arrest on the 28th, and the 29th as well, were taken into custody rather brutally. We are asking that anyone with video footage, still shots, or eyewittness accounts contact us or Belmont Law offices to help out the arrestees.

We are asking that anyone with video footage, still shots, or eyewittness accounts contact us or Belmont Law offices to help out the arrestees. Once again, the jail support number for now is 286-2477, and the number for Belmont Law is 234-2694. Also, if you would like to file a formal complaint to the Central Precinct, the number for Internal Affairs is 823-0097. Thanks again for(most)everyone's help and support for all the arrestees. You don't know how much they appreciate knowing how many people are behind them during all this.

Actually, you file a complaint against the police with the Independent Police Review (IPR) - 823-0146. Or go to the IPR website - www.ci.portland.or.us/auditor/ipr to download a form or file online (remember to make a copy if you file online)
You can also call Portland Copwatch's incident report line for information about complaint filing, etc. 321-5120.
