Salih speaks English, where's the evil?

CNN translates the Arabic from Iraqi broadcasts, but intersperses "evil" and other derogatory terms a lot. Yet, when the speakers speak English, they never say these words. How much of this is real?
CNN broadcasted a live interview by Muhammad Salih, Iraqi Trade Minister about the humanitarian crisis in Iraq. The interesting thing is, he began his speech in Arabic, and the translator kept saying "Evil Bush", "Evil America" etc... but when he later spoke in English, he never uses these words. I know no Arabic, but often these CNN translations intersperse words like "evil", "barbarian" etc... and I wonder how much of it is actually said, and how much of it is inserted for flavor?
