I have roughly 60 pictures and small 30 second videos of the march starting from the plaza, all the way to I-84 shutdown, until the point I got separated by the police from the crowd crossing back into downtown. While there was not even 1% of the protest crowd being unruly (McDonald's window, Shell flags stolen, some tagging and kicking of cars), I give the cops credit for only about 1% of them being confrontational. The police only tried to stop things when they knew they could safely do so. The cops weren't always helpful to our cause (cops not caring if people and/or bikes hit by rednecks in 2,000+ lb. cars), but for the most part I think this was a great turnout and result! I'll try to post some of the better video blurbs later.
As our leaders Bush and Cheney continue to profit from war and oil exploits with the blood of our brothers and sisters, it is our duty to express our disgust at their corruption.
