last night around 6 pm kxl radio was reporting that a cop and a protestor went in the willamette. anyone know if there's any truth to it? any details if it is true?

Not true. I heard this on the scanner, but it was quickly redacted by the dispacher - although it was hard to hear. It also went out on the paging network, but the correction didn't seem to get out.

And posts like these are neither constructive or even interesting. It helps keep a good signal-to-noise ratio by hiding them, if they are at all. The site is buggy, I've had posts dropped often too.
Anyhow, if you REALLY think that statements like:
"MOTORISTS SHOULD JUST KILL PEOPLE"
or
"I WISH ALL OF YOU WOULD JUMP IN THE RIVER"
are productive, please feel free to submit a clever and well thought out rebuttal defending them. Otherwise, STFU.
By the way, taking the moral high ground with the Freedom of Speech makes you look pretty silly when all you can seem to use your speech for is whining and the childish advocation of violence against most of your audience.
