I do a twice-weekly radio show down here on Free Radio Santa Cruz (96.3 FM locally, streams somewhat at www.microradio.net/frsc). My 6-8 Thursday show last night got lots of great reports from Sierra on the scene at the Burnside Bridge takeover.
I have another show Sunday 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m., specializing in homeless civil rights, but anytime is the right time to call in a report to FRSC about taking back the streets and the peace.
I think this kind of connection helps both ways--it will let police know that their actions are seen and heard all around the world as they move to repress protest. And it inspires those of us who are more timid or isolated to understand the kind of contribution folks can make together, standing up together to stop the war machine.
