All that shit that went down on the steel bridge was hillarious! Fuck police for beating down and spraying people when they are supposed to be for the people. How would you cops like it if the protesters had tasers, rubber bullets, guns, and pepper spray? And that cop that got hit on the side of the head and went to the hospital... So what you assholes! I saw it all happen. Think about all of the protesters who got sent to the hospital for absolutely nothing. That donut mongrel didn't even get hit that hard. What a fucking pussy. We the people don't get paid to take clubbings in the head, but you assholes do; so enjoy every second of it! Every cop that got hurt deserved it unconditionaly. When there are peacful protests there are no room for cops. Everyone in their right mind knows that when cops show up things always go wrong. Police are supposed to help people in situations when it is requested by someone (such as helping an old lady cross the fucking street), but the facist American cop mentality is all about the arrest. What did they expect, blocking protesters' freedom of speech? Did they think people were just going to accept that sort of oppression? They deserved what they got + more. I would say one sign accidentally(accidental even according to Fox news reports last night) falling on a cop's head is nothing compared to the damage I saw cops do to 3 people with batons. 2 people got their head split open and 1 older woman got it across the face. That's not even mentioning all of the misc. injuries inflicted by cops or the 100s of people peppersprayed(chemical torture). What about the people who almost got crushed to death by police? The police were pushing people against people who couldn't move, packing them tighter and tighter. Within a minute or less people were screaming and bodies were going limp from exaughstion. I started a chant "Stop pushing! They can't move!" It was perfectly audible for the cops. So don't tell me they didn't know! I was not surprised by this behavior,in fact I expect it, but I'm still disgusted by it. Which only confirms further that capitalism and this hybrid democracy/republic experiment (US gov) does not work. Any time you have a hierarchical structure, the few will hoard the power and wealth at the expense and detriment of the many. Those in power will ALWAYS protect their power by oppressing the masses by any means necessary. Violence, PR, propaganda, media spin, wage slavery,(just to name a few) are ways that hierarchy uses to keep it's power. If you hate police brutality, overthrow the system that demands it! Stop being a slave!

Perhaps you should consider how many times the officers in riot gear "started it" when we the people were doing nothing to physically hurt anyone, unless you consider screaming and chanting the truth hurtful, and to cops it is. Someone throwing the rock only gave the cops a really good reason to beat us senseless, but I bet they would have done it regardless.

The point we were trying to make is that it is absolutley ridiculous to say people walking on concrete with yellow lines is against the law and to this country completely insane. If we're all in cars chanting, it would be ok though right? If the cops had simply let us through there would have been no problem. Same with last night when the group sat on burnside until the moment of arrest... if there had been no cops they'd all eventually go home. The cops are here to threaten, to intimidate, to herd us like sheep. We practice civil disobidence NOT for the media attention, we practice it to show the world that we will no longer be treated like sheep, no longer be a part of this "democratic" heiarchy chain of opression.

For you idiots who think that "blocking the roads" is a constitutional right. Think again. The roads belong to the City of Portland and they will be kept flowing. There were no permits given and you were blocking illegaly. The Police has the right of action to enforce that. You are supposed to remain in parks if you do not have a permit to protest on roads. Then again it's your faults "protesters" or should I say "Saddam Lovers"

Look were not Saddam lover, you moron. I believe he should be taken out as should his government, but explain to me why we need a war. Why cant the CIA/SAS take out all the leaders without civilian casulties.
