COUNTER WARNING! 11.Mar.2003 07:48

Swamp Fox

The US code, military code, etc. DO NOT supercede the founding words of our Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

Even if Hitler took control as our commander-in-chief and ordered the extermination of all the Jews, it would be our DUTY as lawful citizens to disobey him.

On the D.I. 11.Mar.2003 08:39

Do NOT use that Anarcho-Communist document, The Declaration of Independence. The Constitution, maybe. I mean, look around at what that has gotten us. The Declaration of Independence is totally anarchistic and communistic and should ONLY be used by those lefty liberals as a point of light.

Be warning yourself 11.Mar.2003 09:58

Treason? Someone up there said it would be "treason" to send these posters out. But wait! Isn't this freedom of speech? Isn't free speech protected in the first amendment? Yes! We have the right to freedom of speech in America! That's what makes America so great! That, and Democracy.

(Oh, wait. That's just what they TELL us to keep us docile. In point of fact, the US govt does everything it can to stamp out both free speech AND democracy. Rex is right. It probably WOULD be considered "treason"...just like trying to save the forests is considered "terrorism." These are just words they use. Fuck them. They're lies.)

Just so you know, swamp fox's comments do in fact echo the findings of the Nuremberg proceedings; personnel acting on behalf of a state are still personally responsible for their actions if those actions violate international law, even if they were simply following orders from superiors.

Treason defined 10.Jun.2005 09:24

Doremus Jessup

Treason is very clearly defined in the US Constitution:

Article III, Section 1, Clause 1:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

Key word there is "only".
