Four Northwest authors, Dr. Linda C. Beattie Inlow, Susan Foster, Jody Houghton, Barbara Whitaker and Washington Aywn publisher, Frances Caldwell, will be hosting seminars on their various titles during the March 21-23 Northwest Women's Show in Seattle.
Former Seattle Lutheran pastor, Dr. Linda C. Beattie Inlow, author of five books including Becoming ME: A Journey Towards Self-Discovery, and Frances Caldwell, publisher of The Second Chance Writing Book, will discuss strategies for helping teens cope with the stresses of school, drugs, violence and relationships on Friday at 12:30 pm at their seminar, "Helping Teens in Stressful Times."
Saturday's 4:00 pm seminar will feature all five author-publishers in an open forum sharing how writing and publishing can enhance the life of every woman. Jody Houghton, author of Girlfriend Wisdom and Faith, Hope & Charity ... Forever Friends, will moderate the panel. All authors will be available for autographing and conversation throughout the three days at Books by Northwest Authors Booth #651.
On Sunday at 11:30 am Susan Foster and Barbara Whitaker will present "Spring Break Travel: Packing for You and Fido, Too" based on their respective titles. Barbara Whitaker's 2003 new release, Have Dog Will Travel Northwest edition will be featured at the Women's Show. Susan Foster authored Smart Packing for Today's Traveler.
All authors are open to future seminars, interviews and workshops in the Seattle area.
