Colette Gardiner is an herbalist with 20 years of experience teaching about the green world. She has a background in clinical herbalism, horticulture, women's health care, as well as an intense interest in all plants. She has been active in community herbalism for many years organizing several conferences and events. Colette is the owner of Blue Iris Botanicals, director of the Blue Iris School of Herbal Studies and is a featured writer for We'Moon Almanac. She offers classes, walks, and study programs, for lay and professional herbalists on the West Coast. She has a private consulting practice and writes for many periodicals. She also is aligned with Portland's Black Cross Health Collective.
