Oregon is second most active state in drug policy reform movement

According to a survey of 7071 letters per congressional district sent to legislators, Oregon had the second highest average (50.8 letters per district). Nevada was #1 with 61.67 letters per district.
The war on drugs is one of the most powerful tools that the federal government has for repressing the population and instilling fear into us in an attempt to make us passive and submissive. We have reached a turning point in the war on drugs, especially on the medical marijuana front. Active support is needed now more than ever before. Wars do not solve problems, they create problems, and the drug war is no exception.
