On Saturday, February 1st, come to Laughing Horse Books at 8:30 for an inspriting and gifted spoken-word poetry reading by Victorio Reyes from his new book The Rebirth of Krazy Horse: Poems for The Struggle, followed by a discussion of the prison sytem and prison organizing in the U.S.

Formerly the scheduled time was 7 o'clock, but it has been changed so Victorio can join Pam at her event and perform before her talk, and so Pam can join us for the discussion at Laughing Horse afterwards.

Victorio is an activst and poet from upstate New York who works with The Jericho Movement (www.thejerichomovement.com), around issues of political prisioners and prisoners of war within the united states. He has specifically done a lot of work concerning the imprisonment of Mumia Abu-Jamal.
