Fur Free FridayThe fashion industry is trying to revive fur and they are spending a bundle to spread misinformation.
Please join IDA to remind the public of the truth??that fur is cruel, is not fashionable and is still, dead.
At this year??s annual demonstration, IDA will be paying respect to the 40 million animals killed for fashion with a symbolic funeral procession and wake. These fur-bearing animals, including foxes, raccoons, minks, seals, beavers, rabbits, lynx, dogs and cats are trapped, imprisoned, gassed, strangled, clubbed and anally/genitally electrocuted to make fur coats and fur-trimmed items.

______________Language is a powerful tool.
To transform our companion animals' social and moral status from property to living beings with their own needs and interests, we recommend using the term "guardian", rather than "owner", and "he" or "she" rather than "it", in ordinances, legislation and in everyday language. http://www.idausa.org/property.html
