panorama of crowd at terry schrunk plaza

the crowd at terry schrunk plaza, where folks marched from the south park blocks
These five photos of the crowd in the plaza taken from the stage. They show about 180 degrees of the view altogether (like if you turned your head from all the way left to all the way right). This is by no means a view of everyone there. All the folks on the flat above the bowl are obscured behind the people standing in front of them along its edge. Outside the park, the streets on two sides of the plaza were completely filled with people, and a different center of action was occuring in front of city hall (the older building in the middle) where the drum corps was rockin' out and lots of folks dancing. The speeches had already been underway for at least twenty minutes when the last bit of the march finally arrived here. The number of people was just astounding.
