Hood River Non-Violence Training workshop

This workshop will help us as individuals and communities to offer peaceful actions to conflicts at hand, here and abroad, and in futures unknown.

Non-violence Training

Sep 7, 2002

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

This three hour interactive workshop will be facilitated by Michael Carrigan, a veteran in peace issues and actions, and Program Director for the Oregon PeaceWorks. Mr. Carrigan's Nonviolence training is based in the Gandhian tradition of self-realization. Self-realization is considered in this context as a necessity for seeking truth. It also grounds the heart for moral and ethical resistance towards societal practices deemed misdirected. This workshop will help us as individuals and communities to offer peaceful actions to conflicts at hand, here and abroad, and in futures unknown.

"Those who are attracted to non-violence should, according to their ability and opportunity, join the experiment." -Mohandas K. Gandhi Contact
