portland indymedia activists are helping coordinate the production of a video about the A22 bush protests.

they are seeking video footage from anyone who was there.

they are also seeking women who want to be involved in production. video production, like other forms of media production, is a male-dominated field; the people who have stepped forward so far to work on this project are all men. portland indymedia activists would like to help erase the gender gap with this project.

no previous video experience is necessary.

this project will entail all aspects of video production, including (but not limited to):

1) video editing (non-linear, on computers)
2) shooting new footage (post-action interviews with participants)
3) interviewing
4) audio editing
5) narration
6) story-boarding
7) writing and making titles
8) research
9) tape logging
10) etc., etc., etc.

the first planning meeting for this project will be this sunday afternoon. for details about time and place, write to the pdx indy editorial group, at  imc-portland-editorial@indymedia.org.
