actions & protests a22: bush protest

When/where are people meeting to discuss Bush protest?

Is there a planning meeting for the Bush Protest on Tuesday?
Someone put out a call (@12:30pm Fri Aug 9) for one here, and proposed 6:00 p.m. Someone else said (@4:43pm Sat Aug 10) that PPRC will start planning at their Tuesday meeting, which is at 7:00 p.m. at the SE Uplift Office, 3534 SE Main.

Which is it?

Here's where I am about it. 11.Aug.2002 00:21

I'll be at the red and black at 6:00 on tuesday, with my bicycle, then SE uplift isn't that far from there and we can head there. In another post someone("an organizer") said that s/he rather it be somewhere else, but anyways we can just go to SE uplift from there. sound good? Basicly I'd like to work with PPRC on this but I'd like to see a larger coalition of groups come together....so hopefully people will come together and make some sort of plans, if plans even need to be made. I really think we just need people in the street that day/week/month/year/lifetime....

Dear Portland,

Please be security conscious when on the phone.

In an effort to create a welcome for Bush that respects all the different reasons to protest his Administration, please be prepared to speak on behalf of your group. Our goal as a community is to support multiple actions planned by autonomous groups, and in this strategy session, we will identify groups to be involved and how best to support each other.

Bring a snack or something to drink!
