Just a little something I came up with...
Since a US Federal court temporarily ruled the American Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional, I have taken it upon myself to write a New and Better pledge--one that honors our great nation in a more appropriate way and is true to the original spirit of our Founding Fathers. As July 4 is quickly approaching, wouldn't it be a wonderful way to show our patriotism and begin reciting this pledge as we celebrate the birthday of our country and honor its true ideals...

The New American Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United Empire of America, and to our Reich for which it stands, One tyranny under God, invisible, but with fascism and injustice for all.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, of ignorant people, with liberty and justice for those who can afford it.

Those whose rightfully born hostilities are exaggerated and twisted enough to make them considered extremist by a vast majority exercise their grievances in futility. I realize that this is an open forum, but please refrain from such extremism as it only helps those in power to nullify the work of the more pragmatic left.

Isn't this just another attempt to make us sleep? Just in time for the "celebration of freedom"? Why not concentrate on something so detatched from the reality of global issues that sheeple can't help but be concerned? Are you free yet? Is anyone? Does it matter that the pledge was changed on flag day 1954 to hype chistianity with patriotism? No.
