Israeli warplanes attack Palestinian cities, Gaza reduced to three concentration camps
Occupied Jerusalem: 26 January, 2002 (IAP News)
The Israeli occupation army continued its rampage of terror against more than three million Palestinian civilians aspiring to rid themselves of decades of Israeli apartheid and military occupation.
Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported Saturday that Israeli forces bisected the Gaza Strip into three areas, cut off from each other and isolated from the rest of the world.
"We can't travel from Gaza to Khan Younis, the people of Khan Younis can't travel to Rafah, it is like concentration camps, but instead of Auschwitz, Treblinka and Bergen Belsen, we have Gaza, Khan Younis and Rafah," said
Muhammed Shawwa, a Gaza pharmacist.
"Here claustrophobia is alive and well, and it bears an American trademark."
Earlier, American supplied F-16 warplanes attacked police stations and public buildings in Gaza and Tulkarm, causing widespread destruction and injuring more than 20 people, most of them policemen who were sleeping in their dormitories.
Israeli officials said the attack was in response to an earlier Palestinian resistance attack in Tel Aviv which the Islamic Jihad said was in response to the assassination by an Israeli death squad of several Palestinian
The Israeli apartheid regime denies the Palestinians the right to defend themselves and considers all forms of Palestinian activism against Israeli oppression as "acts of terror."
The Israeli army has destroyed much of the infrastructure of the Palestinian authority and is now trying rabidly to compel the Palestinians to surrender by narrowing PA leader Yasser Arafat's horizons.
However, Palestinians said they will never give up their right to independence and self-determination irrespective of Israeli repression and American connivance.
Since the outbreak of the Palestinian uprising against Israeli apartheid and occupation, the occupation army killed close to 1000 Palestinians, a third of them children and minors.
In the same period, 250 Israeli occupation soldiers and para-military Jewish settlers were killed by Palestinian guerillas.
