Seattle Solidarity March in Resistance to the World Economic Forum

If you're in the northwest and can't make it all the way to New York City for the protests against the World Economic Forum, worry no more. There will be a convergence in Seattle to show solidarity. Come one, come all!
Join the Seattle Solidarity March in Resistance to the World Economic Forum
meeting in NYC.

The WEF is an exclusive meeting of the world's business elite to decide your
future - and you're not invited. Another world is possible and it's not for
sale! We especially encourage all forms of creative resistance: puppets, street
theatre, signage, jamming, sidewalk chalk, spoken word, instruments, tea,
whatever you can think of.

Seattle. Saturday February 2. Noon, gather at Black Hole Sun sculpture across
from Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park. 1:30, rally at Seattle Central
Community College. 3:00, march to Westlake. Reclaim the city and build community
with The Seattle Tea Party!

Contact  wef@theoddballs.com or (206)604-2759 for more info or to get involved
with planning.

For more info on the WEF, check out  http://www.globalizethis.org.

NOTE TO THOSE WHO WANT TO ORGANIZE AND PLAN FOR THIS: Many smaller meetings will
take place during this next week leading up to Feb 2 to make
the big push for mobilization, publicity, smaller actions, street theatre skits,
puppet making, march themes, etc. If you can't make this meeting but would like
to get involved, please contact us. If not, plan a skit or something creative
with a few friends and show up on Feb 2 to reclaim our city and our world.
